Damon Bailey

Damon BaileyDamon joins the Hunnicutt team after producing premium Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for the highly awarded Villa Maria Estate in the Marlborough region of the South Island of New Zealand.

Prior to that he spent 3 years in the cellar at Chamisal Vineyards (previously Domaine Alfred) in the Edna Valley AVA of California's Central Coast. While at Chamisal, Damon focused primarily on cool climate, estate grown Burgundy and Rhone varietals from the famed vineyard.

Damon holds a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Wine and Viticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Damon lives in Calistoga and was raised in the East Bay of San Francisco.
